Clean the drain: Another way to fix a slow sink drain is to clean the drain. To do this, remove the sink stopper and use a small brush or a bent wire hanger to remove any debris that may be clogging the drain. You can also pour a mixture of baking soda and vinegar down the drain, followed by hot water, to help dissolve any buildup.
Use a plumbing snake: If the clog is more stubborn, you may need to use a plumbing snake. Insert the snake into the drain and turn the handle to help break up any blockages. Once the blockage has been removed, run hot water down the drain to flush out any remaining debris.
Check the P-trap: The P-trap is a curved pipe under the sink that is designed to trap debris and prevent it from clogging the drain. Sometimes, the P-trap can become clogged itself, causing the sink to drain slowly. To fix this, place a bucket under the P-trap and unscrew it. Then, clean out any debris that may be inside before reattaching the P-trap.
